Out and About

Yesterday, my friends and I went on a little bit of a Vancouver restaurant binge, not that there's anything wrong with that. After a night of indulging in some Granville Island Pale Ale (it happens from time to time) we went to Ouisi for breakfast a late lunch. I had the Eggs Florentine, which are seen below. The potatoes were delicious and crispy with a little bit of spice, which sometimes you need the morning after a night of fun. Fantastic little Vancouver bistro!

In the evening, we went to The Eatery which is a modern, experimental take on Japanese. It was my first time there and (prepare for some cheese) won't be my last. We started with some Asahi and had to move to Sapporo. Both delicious, but Asahi is my favorite Japanese beer and lovely with the sushi and gyoza we consumed. 5 out of 6 of us shared the sushi platter called The Assembly Line - all delicious. Interesting to point out the paper mache figures hanging from the ceiling and the DJ mixing beats (took a little bit of getting used to and was a little loud to converse). All in all, affordable, funky, and delicious. See you again, The Eatery!
